Cosmetology
The tradition of painting people’s faces derives from ancient times. Painting the face and the rest of person’s body served ritual and warfare purposes imparting scary external appearance. Sometimes even the make up symbolized affiliation to a specific state while in the others it was a result of previous medical treatments of some preparations. The example of such usage is the case of smearing the eyelids with malachite by Egyptians who applied it as a prevention against trachoma, commonly called Egyptian viral eye infection. Later on when it was found out that after applying the malachite eyes gain exceptional look and new glitter, the mineral started to be commonly used regardless of medical reasons.

One of the causes might be inter alia usage of too intense colours and not matching the colours with the person’s type of beauty.
Make up itself can be kept in cool colour scheme – with a predominance of blue, grey, subdued green, subdued pink and brown colours, etc.; or warm colour scheme with a predominance of pink, apricot, red, warm shades of green, warm shades of brown colours, etc.
The tone of rouge, lipstick and nail varnish (nail polish) should be kept in the same tone of colour, though it doesn’t have to be identical but still in the same tinge. While selecting colours of cosmetic products we also need to take colours of our clothes into deep consideration. Moreover the make up must match up to the type of face the person has.
