Some people's skin is much more delicate than others. Whether it is intolerant or allergic, it requires very special care, adapted products to ease the usual discomforts. Intolerant skin is sensitive. It presents hyper-reactivity to external and internal factors that even go as far as intolerance to nearly all cosmetic products.
There are two types of intolerant skin:
* Constitutional intolerance: This is often the case with clear phototypes, very dry skin, allergic skin, rosacea or acne rosacea, contact eczema, seborrheic dermatitis.
* Occasional intolerance: This may occur with use of unsuited cosmetics, agressive cleansers, dermatological interventions (peeling, dermabrasion, electrocoagulation), surgery (facelift, blepharoplasty), treatments that cause irritation (anti-acne, corticosteroid) or in an aggressive environment (heat, cold, wind...).
