Eyebrows make-up

Eyebrows are a very crucial element of beauty because they make us look more attractive. Eyebrows with gentle line of arch make the face look younger and cheerful. Straight and horizontal eyebrows, quite thick and bushy impart stern looks of the person’s face. Eyebrows falling on the eyelids in outer eye corners make the face look sad. Eyebrows should be corrected in such a way to match perfectly the type o person’s beauty and shape of the face. The proper distance between the brow and the eye equals (under condition that the eye is open) the iris diameter.

Favourable eyebrows line considering particular face shape:

oval face – eyebrows shape of gentle arch

round face – eyebrows slightly raised up, at the end a little bit round

square face – quite long in the shape of gentle arch

trapezium face – eyebrows away from the bridge of nose further than the proper eyebrows borderline, quite long, in the shape of gentle arch

elongated face – straight line of eyebrows, a little bit away from the bridge of nose further than the proper eyebrows borderline

triangle face – eyebrows raised up outwards, not crossing the proper length

hexagonal face – eyebrows raised up less than in the case of triangle face

Correcting the eyebrows shape.
Eyebrows differ in the shape, colour and thickness. Correcting eyebrows consists of giving them suitable shape, length and width. Eyebrows correction start from estimating their length. This is done with the aid of a pencil. Put the pencil along the line having its beginning inouter side of wing of the nostril and its end in the internal eye corner-in this way there is first length indicator for example A, then put the pencil along the line having its beginning in the outer side of wing of the nostril and its end in the outer eye corner- in this way there is the second eyebrow length indicator B. The distance between point A and B is the proper length of eyebrow. Correct the length and shape of eyebrow using tweezers. While preparing eyebrows for depilation brush the eyebrows up and then right in the direction of the outer eye corner.

eyebrows of too sharp arch – remove the hair in the place where upper eyebrow line creates too sharp arch as well as the hair in the place of eyebrow bridge; lower line fill in with eyebrow pencil

falling eyebrows – depilate the outer side nearer the external eye corner and draw the missing hair with the eyebrow pencil

straight eyebrows – depilate the internal-middle part of eyebrows and the external one just correct

straggly eyebrows – draw the wanted shape with eyebrow pencil.

The eyebrow pencil colour should be similar to the natural colour of eyebrows. Whereas the colour of eyebrows should be similar to hair colour- sometimes it is slightly darker or lighter. Too dark eyebrows make the face look older but very light ones make the face look less distinctive.
